Q: What is FAST?
A: It is an accelerating additive designed to speed your cement material’s hardening.
Q: How much is in a packet?
A: Each packet is 80 grams (2.83 ounces).
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: Use 1 to 4 packets per 55 to 60 lb. bag depending on your project’s need. A trial batch is recommended to fine-tune your dosage and mix procedure.
Q: How do I add it to my mix?
A: Adding it to your mix water before adding the Rapid Set® material will give you better distribution in your mix.
Q: Can I use it with other additives?
A: It can be used in conjunction with other Rapid Set® Concrete Pharmacy® items or certain approved additives.
Q: Can I add it to other portland cement products?
A: FAST will accelerate the set of other portland cement materials. A trial batch is recommended to determine your proper dosage.
Q: Where can I purchase it?
A: Rapid Set® Concrete Pharmacy® products are available nationwide through contractor supply yards and home improvement centers. We can ship direct to you in remote areas.
